What information do I need?

Before you make your application it is advisable that you establish the following:

  • Is the supply cable to your property underground or overhead?
  • If you are fed overhead from a pole is that pole on your land?
  • Is your supply looped to a neighbouring property?
  • Is the current supply single phase or three phase?

Plans

So that we can identify your property/development and give you an accurate quotation for the work, we'll need you to provide plans of the location and site layout. Please make sure that your existing and proposed new meter positions are clearly marked on your site layout plan.

MPAN

To help us identify your property, you'll need to provide the MPAN (Meter Point Administration Number). You'll find this number on your electricity bill. If you don't know your MPAN you can call the Meter Point Administration Service on 0845 6030618 or email the Central Networks MPAS team.
