How do I gain access?
Contact the Access Helpline 0870 0104048.

What information do you require to allow me access to the site?
Initially we'll need:

  • date access is required
  • details of site you need access to
  • work that will be carried out
  • number and names of people attending site
  • details of vehicles attending site

If the work is of a hazardous nature, such as working at height or civils, we'll need a method statement, risk assessment and proof of competency to climb from you.

Is all access supervised?
No. The visit may be supervised depending on the work you're proposing to carry out.

Can I get access at the weekend or out of hours?
Contact the Access Helpkine on 0870 0105048. A standby engineer will pick up your enquiry.

Do I need to contact you to gain ground access to a 'G78 Pylon' site located on third party land?
Yes, as you are working in proximity to the electricity pylon we have a duty of care to make sure you're aware of the necessary safety precautions for working near the structure.
