Now we have launched a new online Energy Fit survey, at eonenergyfit.com.
The survey aims to get people Energy Fit by getting them to answer questions about their home and then receiving individually tailored recommendations on what they can do to become more energy efficient, together with details of how they can make very real savings. The survey results can be saved and specific energy saving goals selected so that people can monitor their progress.
Anyone who completes the survey can also calculate their home's energy fitness indicator (EFI), a tool developed by E.ON to help people visualise their energy usage and the improvements that they can make. The tool also enables people to track their progress, or even to compare savings with their friends and family.
And our new animated TV ad highlights some of the savings people can make in a fun and engaging way by featuring illustrated mice plotting ways to get around the energy saving measures the humans have implemented in their homes after using eonenergyfit.com.
The voice of Major Mouse is provided by Oscar-winning actor Jim Broadbent.
The introduction of our Energy Fit survey follows the launch of our "Energy Fit Starter Pack" in May. The pack includes the latest energy monitor model which allows people to view their electricity use instantly, as well as to track how much they're spending daily and monthly.
In addition, the pack comes with exclusive software for use with home PCs or laptops that allows users to track their energy fitness progress over hours, days and weeks. Users can also submit their meter readings online to ensure they receive accurate bills. More information is available at eonenergyfit.com
