Other ways we're working to help homes get energy fit:
Watt Watchers Energy Fitness Challenge
E.ON's search for Britain's most energy fit family, pitted families against each other to see how they could save pounds on their energy wasteline.
Adopt an energy monitor
E.ON helped school children across the country get energy fit, by mirroring the normal school practice of taking the classroom pet home during the holidays, but loaning out energy monitors instead.
Copacabana Couches
E.ON research found that one in five British households are basking in temperatures equivalent to those in Copacabana, and found that many people are locked in a 'thermo-spat' with their partners resulting in the continually turning up and down of the thermostat.
Plugged in Britain
E.ON found that Brits are wasting millions of pounds every year by leaving battery powered gadgets on permanent charge, this also reduces the lifespan of the technology. E.ON teamed up with TV Presenter, Pollyanna Woodward, to advise consumers about the best ways to reduce their bills and save their gadgets.
