In the UK we invested in our first onshore wind farm in 1991.  Since then we have used our experience and expertise to develop a portfolio that consists of 19 onshore sites.

The latest addition to our onshore portfolio, Stag's Holt, was commissioned in 2007.  This nine turbine site is able to generate power to supply approximatley 10,000 homes each year and displace the emission of over 40,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide.

In 2008 we received planning consent for a further three onshore wind schemes - Butterwick Moor in Sedgefield, Haswell Moor near Easington and the re-powering of Great Eppleton in Hetton-le-Hole.
