In the UK we invested in our first onshore wind farm in 1991. Since then we have used our experience and expertise to develop a portfolio that consists of 17 onshore sites.

The latest addition to our onshore portfolio, Stag's Holt, was commissioned in 2007. This nine turbine site is able to generate power to supply approximately 10,000 homes each year and displace the emission of over 40,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide.

In 2010 we completed the repowering of Great Eppleton in Hetton-le-Hole and have started construction of Butterwick Moor and Haswell Moor in County Durham. In Scotland our activities include preparations for the construction of a further two wind farms: Rosehall in Sutherland and Camster near Wick.
