Living with an E.ON wind farm

Living with an E.ON wind farm

Over the summer in 2006 we undertook research at two of our operational sites to find out people's views of living near to one of our wind farms. The research shows how their views changed during the development, construction and operational stages of the wind farms development.

The two sites where the research was undertaken were:

Bowbeat, Peebles, Scotland

Out Newton, Easington, England

The results of the research are detailed in the animation below, click on 'next' to move through each stage of the research and find out what people living locally to one of our sites really think about them.

This research was undertaken by an independent market research agency using a variety of qualitiative and quantitative research techniques.
