E.ON Gas Storage UK has set up a special community fund to support projects in the local parishes of Allostock, Byley, Cranage, Lach Dennis and Lostock Gralam.

A total fund of £20,000 is available for a range of projects.

Tony Jenkin Jones, Senior Community Relations Officer at E.ON UK, says: "E.ON UK is fully committed to playing an active role in community life and that means we want to spend the money available from the Community Fund in the way local people want.

"From new flooring for your child's school to equipment for the local football team, we'll consider any ideas that you can demonstrate will directly benefit your community and have a lasting and positive impact upon community life."

The fund is administered by Cheshire Community Council who review and forward applications to the Local Liaison Committee for consideration.
