"I love wind turbines. They are hypnotically elegant and they are in my backyard (well, the farmland behind my garden). The ten turbines have been there (very) quietly generating impeccably green energy for over ten years. I am truly proud to have all these turbines on my doorstep."
- Edward Ward, a neighbour of E.ON UK wind farms at Blood Hill and at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk

"I used to be really opposed to wind farms, although I knew they help to reduce pollution. But now that I've lived near one for a couple of years I've completely changed my view, and I'm even studying for an MSc in renewable technology."
- Kevin McSweeney, a neighbour of the E.ON UK wind farm at Rheidol
