E.ON submitted a planning application for the proposed development to the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) in August 2009. There has since been ongoing dialogue and provision of technical information to various stakeholders on a variety of issues.

A copy of our Environmental Statement Further Information reports is attached below and is available for examination by the public, from Wednesday 7th   December 2011 at the following locations:

  North Somerset Council offices
  Bristol City Council offices
  Bristol central library
  Portishead library
  Pill library

Formal representations regarding the Environmental Statement Further Information report need to be sent to DECC by Friday 20 January 2012, either in writing or by email, at:

At the end of this consultation period, DECC will determine the application, taking into account all representations received, with a view to making its final decision, anticipated in Spring 2012.
