Our employee’s identity.

We take your personal safety very seriously. We issue each member of staff with an identity card, and our Contractors will have an identity card indicating which company they work for. This is to reduce the risk of bogus callers pretending to be from Central Networks to gain access to your home.

The identity card will have the Central Networks’ employee’s name, expiry date, a colour photograph of them, and most importantly the free telephone number to call if you are in any doubt as their identity.This free number is 0800 051 5686.

How to confirm that the caller at your door is genuine.

Our staff will be happy to confirm their identity and where possible, will be wearing clothing indicating they are from Central Networks. Our contractors will also wear clothing indicating which company they work for. All of our vans will say Central Networks and usually our contractors vans will have “working on behalf of Central Networks” signage.

When you open your door to a member of our staff they will introduce themselves, show you their identity card and explain the purpose of their visit.

If you are in any doubt as to whether they are genuine, please check the visitor’s identity card:

•   Is the photo of the person at the door?
•   Has the card been tampered with in any way?
•   Is the card in date?
•   Does the logo match the logo on the clothing and/or van?

We will check our database and confirm the identity of our employee as shown on the card.
