We promise to have plans.

The law* states that we must have up to date plans (as best we can, considering the fact that our network is constantly changing) showing where are electricity cables and lines are. Please give us 28 days notice to make sure the plans reach you in good time. Please use the link on the right hand side to order your network information plans.

If you have a business, your responsibility is to use them.

Legally** if you are carrying out work underground you must ask for and use our plans on your job. This means before you start work you need to have the right plans on site for the job.

Where possible the person setting up the job should ask us for the plans and make sure these are passed on to the person actually doing the job.
