Technology and Innovation

How long? 18 months
Where? Nottingham
Scheme Development: Professional Engineering Development Scheme (PEDS)

Want to be part of the future?

Want to help us find even better ways to manage renewables? Or investigate energy handling across our power plants?

At Technology and Innovation, we're shaping the future of energy – with low carbon resources developed by the best people in the industry.

And you'll be part of it.

You'll work with the very latest technology on projects that influence the whole energy industry.

A real insight

We'll help you build on your technical and commercial skills with four placements.

They'll give you a real insight into what we do – and the way we work within the entire business.

We'll get you on two placements related to your degree subject. So what you've learned is applied to the world of energy.

We're a major part of E.ON – and the wider energy industry.

You'll see this for yourself when you complete your third placement in business development. Or on a project around the whole of Technology & Innovation.

And you could learn even more about our role in shaping energy with a placement elsewhere in E.ON.

What's next?

Once you've completed the scheme, you can move into a specialised technical role – or a more generalist engineering or project management job.

What we need from you

You'll have at least 280 UCAS points and a 2:1 degree in chemical, mechanical, civil or electrical engineering, or in electronics, EC&I, maths, physics or chemistry. If you've got a higher degree, we'd like to hear from you too.
