Join us as a Generation Apprentice and in under four years you'll gain great skills in the area of energy production as well as an NVQ Level 3, BTEC National Certificate and an Advanced Apprentice Certificate. These will see you on your way to a full and rewarding career and what's more, you'll be taking home a proper wage while you do it.
Of course there's more to it than qualifications; you'll also gain the confidence to take control in any given situation and have the courage to take the lead. You'll often be the first in line to diagnose faults, initiate repairs, implement modifications and be involved in plant overhauls.
During your training, you will need to stay away from home for some periods of time, including the first few months of your apprenticeship. You will train at our specialist Engineering Academy in Nottingham throughout your apprenticeship and between block release courses/BTEC block release you will return to your site to practice these skills in your chosen career.
