At E.ON, we recognise the important role that sustainability and the reduction of carbon emissions has to play in the future development of energy and also that, as a charity or community organisation, getting started in this area can be really confusing.

That is why we have developed the E.ON Sustainable Energy Fund. Launched in April 2009 as part of our further commitment to our community, E.ON Sustainable Energy Fund supports the development of efficient and sustainable energy measures for community organisations.

E.ON Sustainable Energy Fund is made up of two parts - a web resource and access to grant funding.

On this site you will be able to access information about energy efficiency, micro-generation and other low carbon measures that you can implement in your community building to really make a difference; to both your organisation and the environment.

It is our aim to offer you advice and information to support you in making key decisions about sustainability and in assessing whether this route is suitable for your organisation.

As part of our community investment work we have developed the fund which offers financial opportunities to community groups and not for profit organisations that wish to pursue and implement sustainable energy measures. The funding criteria are set out within the funding pages. Please ensure you understand these before completing your application form.
