At E.ON we are committed to investing in the communities in which we live and work. We aim to help communities become energy fit, delivering positive social impact to individuals and organisations.

We focus our community investment and employee volunteering activity on two key areas, education and supporting vulnerable consumers. We also support charitable organisations nominated by colleagues through our employee fund and payroll giving initiatives, and through our charity of the year.

Approaching community and charitable activity in this way means we can deliver long term support to structured projects whilst also being able to help the charities that mean the most to our employees.

Following a full review of the impact of the Sustainable Energy Fund, the fund has been brought in line with our key business initiative by aligning the funding in specific areas. We work with the local authority and community partners to determine the criteria and specific targeted geographic regions. Our partners will then contact eligible organisations and introduce the fund to them, helping them through the process.

We will no longer market the fund on this web site as it will be promoted locally by our local authority and community partners.
