Being trusted
The focus for 2008 is to further develop the range of volunteering opportunities so that a greater number of employees are supported in taking time out of work to volunteer in their local community.
Building meaningful and lasting relationships in the communities where we operate makes it easier for us to explain what we're trying to achieve as a company through our Changing Energy strategy, and will help us change people's understanding of energy.
We therefore have a structured, but wide ranging community programme that targets our support at those areas of society where we feel our help and expertise can make a real difference.
