• Located in Sebree, Kentucky, the plant began commercial operation in 1966 and has a net generating capacity of 130MW
• Has 99 employees that operate the coal-fired, steam-turbine generator and the natural gas/fuel oil-fired combustion turbine
• Burns more than 115,000 tonnes of coal per year, delivered by truck or barge
• WKE has met the Clean Air Act's Phase II SO₂ and NO_x emission limitations at each station through a system-wide average starting in the year 2000
