Powergen is committed to limiting the amount of resources we use, whether fossil fuels and water in our power stations, electricity and water in our offices or fuel used by our distribution.

Fossil fuels, such as coal, clearly play a big part in generating electricity. Making electricity also uses a lot of water.

Our offices use electricity and so account for a certain amount of the CO2 released into the air.

Most transport, for both travelling to work and required as part of our work, also uses fossil fuels, which can affect air quality and contribute to climate change.
