Employee satisfaction
We run regular surveys of our employees. Our Employee Opinion Survey, conducted as part of a Groupwide Employee Opinion Survey, asks all our employees to comment on a range of issues including their working conditions, their views on pay and benefits, their satisfaction levels and their perceptions of E.ON UK as an employer.
In 2005, almost 9,000 of our staff participated in the Survey, a response rate of 75.7%, which was 21.7% higher than in 2004. Overall, the results showed that our employees have a sense of pride and shared identity through being part of the E.ON Group. That said, there were areas where it is clear we need to work hard to improve the way in which we operate, and all managers across the business are working to share findings with their colleagues and explore the key areas of focus.
