Overview of organisation
Please let us have a brief description of your organisation. Please let us know your aims and objectives and how you operate.
Amount requested
Let us know the total amount you are applying for. Please include the totals including and excluding VAT. If you are able to reclaim the VAT, we will award the excluding VAT amount. If you are unable to reclaim the VAT, we will award the amount including VAT. Please ensure that you are clear whether you can reclaim the VAT before submitting your application.
Please let us know the percentage of the proposed energy measures you want to install. For example, if the total cost of a turbine is £10,000 and you are asking for £9,000. The percentage of the installation is 90%.
We would also like to know how this relates to the value of the overall project. This is relevant if the installation is part of a bigger programme, for example a major refit or new build project.

Project description
Use this space to let us know the rationale behind this project. What you will be installing and how; and the process you have followed to determine that this is the best solution for your circumstances. Please include details of the proposed technology or equipment you will be installing, how you decided what was right for your project/organisation, details of the site, location and surrounding environment.
Project implementation and management
Who will be doing this work for you? Do you need planning consent and how the project will be managed and monitored? Please include details of the work done to date, planning permission status (if required for your project), plans for design and installation, who you are working with, how the project will be managed and monitored during installation and your long term plans for its management and measurement.
Timescales
Let us know when you plan to carry out the work. Please note that if you are successful, you will need to have completed your project within 12 months of being awarded the grant.
Costs
Give a breakdown of the costs of the project. If it is part of a larger scheme, please clearly breakdown how the grant from SOURCE will be used.
This analysis will help complete Section 2. Please put the detail of that breakdown here.
Fundraising
Please let us know what other funding you have for this project. Please include details of the funds raised through your own fundraising activity, any other grants applied for and/or received and budget allocated by your organisation.
If you do not have full funding, please let us know who else you intend to apply to.
Please note that E.ON can be the only corporate sponsor of the project.
Environmental benefits
Sections 4.1 and 4.2 let us know why this project is important. We focus on these sections to assess the merits of the applications
Please let us have as much detail as you can. Please focus on tangible benefits and include specific figures such as carbon savings, if you are able to calculate them. Your contractor should be able to help you with this section. Include as much detail here as you can.
Community benefits
Please include details of all sections of your community that will benefit from the scheme you are delivering. Give details of the number and variety of users and groups and how often the facility is used. Include as much detail here as you can.
Communication and engagement
What have you done to date and what doe you plan for the future? How do you propose to communicate delivery of this project to your community? Who will be managing this for you?
What steps have you already taken to improve the energy efficiency of your building?
Please give full details of the steps you have already taken. We need to be sure that you have thought through your overall strategy. Have you already done the simple things before spending significant sums?

Information about your facility
Please let us know if you own the freehold of the facility or how long you hold the lease for. Please also include any other relevant information about your facility. You do not have to own the freehold, but there must be a significant period remaining on the lease of you don’t. Residential properties do not qualify for SOURCE funding.
