Business Services and the UK Centre provide key cost-effective, vital support services for the whole of E.ON UK.

Business Services provide the services that keep 70-plus sites functioning day in, day out and enable our employees to carry out their work effectively. Last year, Business Services began its transformation programme that will fulfil its vision of being a world-class integrated shared services organisation where each major business process has a single owner and is delivered in an integrated manner.

The services we provide include:

• Supply Chain - Our newly integrated Supply Chain process delivers expertise in procurement, logistics and insurance. Responsible Procurement is a fundamental aspect of our approach to strategic sourcing and is embedded throughout our core procurement process.
• Finance - We provide comprehensive financial management for Business Services and UK Centre, and have aspirations to provide transactional financial support to the whole of E.ON UK.
• People - Our people process contains centres of excellence for skills training and HR support.
• Asset Management and Security - We aim to provide safe, secure, sustainable and effective workplaces, and work constantly on reducing our non-operational carbon footprint. And we now source all of the electricity used at our major UK offices from renewable generation. We also look at how we can reduce business mileage and work hard to ensure our facilities operate in a sustainable manner.
• Change - We provide project management services for change projects adding value to the whole business.
