We regularly survey our employees. Our Group-wide Employee Opinion Survey conducted every two years, asks all our employees to comment on a range of issues including their working conditions, their views on pay and benefits, their satisfaction levels and their perceptions of E.ON UK as an employer.

Almost 9,000 of our employees took part in the most recent Survey, carried out in 2005, giving a response rate of 75.7%, 21.7% higher than in 2004. Overall, the results showed that our employees have a sense of pride and shared identity through being part of the E.ON Group. There were also areas, however, where it is clear we need to work hard to improve the way in which we operate and all managers across the business are working to share findings with their colleagues and explore the key areas of focus.
