We have worked with national charity Age Concern England, now Age UK, since 1999, delivering projects designed to make a difference to older people.

EnergyRight

Our current project with Age UK is EnergyRight. Running since 2007, the project aims to offer energy efficiency advice and practical support to older people.

Inspired by our objectives around energy efficiency and the charity's aim to increase the health, comfort and financial security of vulnerable older people, this project takes energy efficiency into the heart of communities - offering face to face energy advice to those who need it most.

In 2009, we worked with 15 local Age Concerns delivering ongoing energy efficiency projects and also ran EnergyRight Week in October with a further 10 Age Concerns running events for over 3,200 older people. We also conducted a national research survey - talking to over 2,000 older people to understand their energy efficiency needs and behaviour and produced an energy efficiency info guide that was distributed to over 30,000 people.

EnergyRight was awarded a 2008, 2009 and 2010   Big Tick by Business in the Community.
