2016 house

To combat this, the Government has set targets for all new homes to be zero carbon from 2016. But what about our existing homes?
E.ON UK is working in partnership with the University of Nottingham to build a replica 1930’s semi-detached house and develop innovative solutions for improving the energy performance of older properties.
Play the animation below to see some of the modifications that could be added to our existing homes to help meet the government’s zero carbon targets by 2016.
