Energy Policy is high on the political agenda, and likely to remain so, as security of energy supplies, tackling climate change and fighting fuel poverty remain priority issues for Government. The Regulation & Energy Policy Team co-ordinate E.ON’s engagement with Government on energy policy matters.
This position will enable you to gain a great breadth of knowledge of how the energy industry works across Europe and develop contacts with significant players in deciding energy policy.
You will be responsible for the communication of detailed information in a concise and informative manner across E.ON UK, addressing and highlighting key issues that face our business. You will be responsible for monitoring a variety of sources to ensure that we are constantly up to date with policy measures and legislation that affect the energy industry.
Pre-requisites
Excellent communication skills (English writing, comprehension and presenting).
Good analytical skills and energy industry related knowledge would be useful.
