Self development

If you want to take control of your development, you'll love working with us.

How?

We'll help you learn and develop in two main ways.

  • Learning on the job

That doesn't mean you'll be left on your own. The opposite, in fact. We'll give you an experienced manager. And they'll use their knowledge and experience to coach and guide you in the right direction.

  • Training courses

We'll go a long way to find courses that are directly relevant to you. While courses are great opportunities to learn, they're just the tip of the iceberg. It's when you get back to your job that you'll be able to put your new skills and knowledge into practice and make a real difference.

We offer lots of different ways to train, including E-learning - on subjects such as budgeting and implementing strategy. Now, has any other employer offered you that?

To make life simpler, you can book and find out about all of our management training courses online.

What do we expect from you?

Our ambition is to change energy. To make sure we succeed, we want you to be passionate about developing yourself. That way, you can encourage the people you work with to learn and achieve their goals too.

What happens next?

On our graduate programme, we'll kick off with a detailed induction. You'll find out how the energy industry works, about our company and the graduate scheme.

After a few months, you'll get started on some great key skills. We'll teach you how to manage your time and network with people; how to make an impact with your presentations, be culturally aware and manage all the relationships that will help you succeed.

We'll also give you placement specific training to equip you with the knowledge and skills to do your job with passion and purpose – and, of course, have a great time working for us!
