On your placement you could end up making recommendations to the UK Executive Board about the feasibility of investment proposals. Or helping to develop a financial strategy for the entire UK business.
This is about a lot more than accounting for transactions.
We support everything E.ON UK does. We're central to the business achieving its goal of being the world's leading energy company. You'll be giving key people in the company the information and insight to make critical business decisions.
Across the business
Each of our Business Units has its own finance team, alongside our Business Services and UK Centre Finance teams. So you'll be able to gain experience across the business in a series of two to four month placements:
- Financial Accounting
- Management Reporting
- Financial Business Planning
- Taxation
- Treasury
- UK Finance Strategy
You'll also get the chance to do a non-finance placement. That means finding out first hand how finance supports individual Business Units to achieve their business goals.
We'll also help you plan your professional and personal development. We're accredited CIMA Development Partners so we can give you the support you need to gain a recognised accounting qualification. We'll give you time off for a study course and on the day of and day before each exam. And we'll pay all your course and exam fees.
We'll work with you to create your individual development plan. So you'll have all the right skills for a great future in finance.

In just 18 months you'll be CIMA part-qualified, ready to move up to analyst level -and looking forward to an attractive salary.
What we need from you
You'll have at least a 2:1 degree in any subject. You'll be good at applying logic with a passion to become a financial professional.
