Position: Direct Entry
Location: Dusseldorf, Germany
Expert knowledge
You'll be working in the highly volatile wholesale markets in power, gas, coal, oil and carbon. You'll be working on a range of activities, from negotiating complex multi-year financial and physical deals; trading coal, gas, power and oil by screen and phone, to planning and programming road, rail and ship deliveries to power stations. And balancing, in real time, our gas and power portfolios 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You'll be part of a team formulating strategic direction; making sure risks and exposure are properly understood, and engaging in fundamental price forecasting.
We'll help you understand how we apply and integrate our expert market knowledge with our physical asset and contract portfolios.
Position
These are direct entry positions within our new E.ON Energy Trading business, based in Dusseldorf, Germany. E..ON Energy Trading is the centralised trading business for Europe. What you'll need
You'll need at least a 2:1 degree and a good maths A Level. We're looking for commercial acumen and an understanding of what makes business work. You will be willing to rellocate to Dusseldorf and a good level of german language skills would be advantageous.
