Our portfolio of world class power stations produce enough electricity to power around eight million homes. Our power stations have a rich biodiversity resulting from their sites including large areas of undisturbed land, often on rivers and estuaries that support a large variety of wildlife and plant habitats.

Over the years our stations have not only worked hard to minimise their impact on the environment but to actively manage, restore and enhance nature reserves, trails and education centres. This has resulted in a marked increase in wildlife and the creation of natural and enjoyable environments to the benefit of us all.
